Matt S. Mortensen, PhD - Founder

 I’m a hands-on technical leader who’s been building and deploying real systems long before AI became the latest trend. I'm also a business leader who has served on management teams of small, medium, and large companies handling $100M+ portfolios. I don’t deliver fragile solutions that only work as a slide deck or demo. I build systems that hold up in production, integrate with how your business actually operates, and deliver measurable value over time.

I wrote my first serious software at 19 — a residential construction estimating tool that translated real-world building logic into something faster and more convenient. Since then, my career has taken me deep into enterprise environments, where “working” isn’t enough—systems have to be reliable, secure, scalable, and actually usable by the people who depend on them every day.

I’ve worked alongside prestige consulting firms on ERP implementations. I’ve built SQL-based databases and reporting tools to track and report when bad things happen with medical devices. I’ve configured and rolled out Google Workspace for a large professional society that enhanced the capacity to serve members. 

I am also a PhD scientist with a passion for unlocking new learnings from data. I've led multiple machine learning initiatives at a fortune 100 company to discover new insights into material properties. It's always fun seeing what is hidden behind huge amounts of data of any kind.

Every step of the way, I have learned to listen for what people really need, then delivered solutions that fill those needs. It is a privilege to play any part in making a customer's job easier.
